I’m Bimo Setyawan, a hospitality professional with over 22 years of experience, having held various executive positions in hospitality and education industry and visiting lecturer at several educational institutions. My career began from the ground up, rooted in three core pillars: attitude, knowledge, and skill. I firmly believe that attitude is the foundation of excellent service and effective team building. My experience managing star-rated hotels and teaching at leading hospitality schools in Indonesia has given me deep insights into both industry demands and academic development. As hospitality educator, I am committed to bridging the gap between academia and the hospitality industry. The goal is to produce graduates who are not only well-versed in theory but also embody the professional mindset required to compete on a global level. I’m also active as a speaker and trainer, sharing my experiences and knowledge with young talents and fellow professionals. I believe that by sharing what we know, we can create a stronger, more sustainable hospitality ecosystem. I bring a consultative leadership style, blending data-driven decisions with a deep understanding of the guest journey. Now, I’m open to new leadership roles as a General Manager or Consultant, where I can drive growth, efficiency, and exceptional guest experiences. With a strong background in hotel management, education, and training, I remain dedicated to contributing to the growth and advancement of Indonesia’s hospitality industry.
