I’m a Data Analyst with over 3 years of experience using Python, Tableau, SQL, Power BI, Git, MS Excel.
With my experience as a Sales Data Analyst at Xpress Superstore, or the Lead Data Analyst at SANICLE.US a US Based femtech company and as an Instructor(Data Analytics) where I build end to end projects and course materials for teaching and Mentoring people that are new to data, junior or entry level data analyst on all they need to know.
I’m very proficient in SQL from writing simple to complex queries with multiple JOINS, writing efficient and optimized queries using temp tables and CTEs, I’m very comfortable working with any kind of data model be it a STAR or SNOWFLAKE schema.
I’m confident in my Python skills; using python for data cleaning, data manipulation, data exploration or visualization and even web scraping.
I’m also proficient in Power BI; I can use power query to carry out data cleaning or transformation efficiently and connect to various data sources like databases, excel or web files, I am very good with power BI data modeling STAR or SNOWFLAKE schema and I’m also very good at writing efficient DAX queries and time intelligences as well.
I’m also good with Tableau even though I prefer Power BI ; I know how to carry out data modelling and connect to various data sources, I am also good at writing efficient calculated measures and even LOD functions in tableau but I’m willing to take on new challenges and learn more on tableau.
I use GSheets and MS EXCEL as well; I’m very good at writing advanced excel functions and use pivot tables for data summarizations as well
Also I’m familiar with using Asana as well for project/task management.
I also use Git as well for version control although I use it personally for my portfolio creation.
I’m proficient with dbt for ELT tasks, I know how to build models from the “staging” level down to “data_marts” models in dbt with transformations and necessary data quality tests/checks and I’m also good with data warehousing providers like Snowflake and BigQuery
